Fall Shoe Predictions For The Sneakerheads, Ballerinas, and Everyone In-Between

By Maya Mazor | October 9, 2023

Shoes, shoes, shoes. Gazing at outfits from afar, your eyes dart straight toward them. The shoe industry is a powerhouse for branding - securing the newest, exclusive collaborations is a sign of knowledge, style, and affluence. Shoes allow you to tango with masculinity, strut elegantly, or anything in between. Whatever you wish to rock, my footwear fall predictions include something for you. I promise all of them are worth the blisters.

The reincarnation of street style has undoubtedly found its way into the soles of sneakers across the globe. The retromania is evident. Worn-in styles are all the talk - the more creased, the better. Sneakerheads on the gram highlight classic Adidas styles such as neutral Sambas with leather finishes, Gazelles with pops of red or green, and the newest addition to the family: the Spezials. I suggest a navy pair for the girls who wish to slightly stray from their colorless closets.

If you wish to dainty it up a tad, flats for fall are all the craze. Don’t fret - as a short girl, there are options out there. Flats with a slight heel or cool buckle add a bit of edge (and height)! The classic flat with delicate bows is on-pointe. And leather, square-toe flats are for those who can’t get behind the full ballerina look. The different textures and styles to choose from are endless. My recent purchase of red flats makes me feel like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, in the best possible way.. Compliments galore!

We’ve seen corporate women of the fashion world rocking slingbacks, especially metallic ones with a slight nod to futurism. There’s no doubt they’re making their way into everyone’s fall shoe lineup. Nods to vintage slingbacks in the 90s such as Gucci, Channel, Manolo Blahnik, and Prada are evident. These shoes go with almost everything - jeans, trousers, dresses - you name it. They immediately elevate any look you’re going for, whether it be a day in the office or a night out with the girls. Once you start with classic black, you’ll never want to go back.

Long story short, statement shoes are in style. They’re timeless and scream quiet luxury (or loud luxury, I don’t judge). Pick as you please.
